The Café @ Farnborough Village — Restaurant in London

Three stars for the young staff, we were served by the nice guy with dark wavy hair. We had a chicken caesar sandwich and a brie bacon toastie, very nice. But the coffee was too strong and couldn't drink it so asked for a tea. But got half a cup of hot water with a teabag on the side. Oh well! And why the odd way that the short menu is handwritten and clipped on a board???? When it changes to lunch they all get collected and replaced with another handwritten lunch menu on another board. Strange why not just one menu typed up? Could do with brightening up a bit too maybe small flowers on the table and some pictures of...

Fab little cafe with lovely ambiance and modern decor.

Great menu options for meat lovers and vegetarians/vegans alike, with even homemade vegan baked goods on offer, that were delicious.

Highchairs and children's books & toys are close at hand, so it's very child friendly.

Service was great even at a busy time and the staff were very friendly.

There's ample paid parking just outside the door and seating both inside and out.

I would really recommend this café for a quick breakfast, or for a leisurely...

UPDATE: Updating rating to a 5* (bread isn’t my taste but everything else it’s amazing! - I honestly can’t fault anything and the shop deserves a 5* ) 😊

Please invest in some other quality breads 🍞 farmhouse or tiger loaf or even crusty rolls - thin what seems like hovis just doesn’t cut it for me ( please note this is just personal preference - everything else is amazing!! 🤩)
