This pub is not dog friendly. I live in the next local village Keston and walk my two small dogs in Farnborough Fields. I went in this pub this afternoon and went to the bathroom with my dog to wash my hands and wash my dogs face with water from the sink. The barmaid complained and said it wasn’t healthy to take a dog in a toilet; I thought we were a dog friendly country? I then took the cleaning fluid from the barmaid myself and cleaned the toilet down. When walking back to the bar with the cleaning fluid a man started shouting at me and swore numerous times using the F C and various other horrid swear words in front of his grand son. I was completely shocked and shaken by this abusive and verbally violent and bullying behaviour. I left immediately and went to the Woodman. Totally different experience and completely doggie friendly and Shelly gave my dogs treats. The man in the Change of Horses was a bully and should be ashamed of his behaviour I will never set foot in their again and would advise all dog owners to...

I told her I would order something else reluctantly, she then told me well I would have to pay for it. I then went to the landlord and he told me ok. They then did magically have steak. I found out it wasn't Andy the landlord it was the young bar girl that took it on herself to lie and be rude not in her tone. But her lies. It had me feel very angry, then on top a...
Read moreWe had booked the pub for a wake after a service at the nearby church. The staff were excellent and very attentive to our guests. Food provided was good and we were made to feel most welcome. Back again at The Change of Horses after All Souls Service at St. Giles' Church. Again, great service, efficient friendly staff. Food from the menu is great, right amount of choices. We ordered 2 sharing platters at £11.49 each. We would have posted photos of our order but unfortunately we immediately tucked in and ate the lot before realising it. Recommended for a visit for a drink or food.
The decor is homely, the background music, stays as background by not being overly...
