The Wheatsheaf — Restaurant in London

Popped in on Sat 18th March. My partner ordered a pint,I ordered lemonade, but changed my mind and said could I please have water. She had already given my partner his beer. She said to me hold on a minute... She then carried on serving other customers...after 5 minutes I said " excuse me can I have some water pls" again I was told to wait! Why ? Why should I wait for water, what difference if I had lemonade or water! I didn't care for her attitude. When I said" Why do I have to wait " She said stop shouting I was not. She obviously didn't like the fact that I picked her up on the fact she was making me wait... Clearly needs further training, certainly on customer service. Very...

Have been a couple of times during the day with friends. Pub is very pro sport having darts area and pool table with at least FOUR TV screens I could see. Big garden with 20 large benches. Went on a Saturday night as live singers on at 8.30pm, could barely hear the singers over the pub's chatter. Very MATURE blokey pub, hardly any women and seemingly full of the local clique type locals who stuck to their little groups. I am an outgoing friendly fella but this place was unfriendly ! ...

This was a fab find for us. Fancied an impromptu drink and maybe some food. I’ve never been in but a friend suggested it as it has had a recent refurb. Very pleasantly surprised, lovely garden with covered booths and tables as well as a fully covered area. Good was divine and so reasonable.
