We stumbled across the pub this weekend. Upon entering we were met with such friendly bar staff. The bar had such a welcoming atmosphere and the locals were super friendly. Leaving the pub to eat we came back for a last couple before heading home! A couple turned in several more as we we’re having a great night. Invited back the following day we could not turn the invitation down…. Treated like legends walking back in and hugged and welcomed back to the fold as though returning family! The pub had an amazing band playing which I understand plays at the weekend and the atmosphere didn’t disappoint. John the owner of the pub was just delicious! super attentive and later found the people behind the bar were family which I loved. Avoid at all costs. No ticket issued. No notice to owner within 14 days. Do not park here, they use a dodgy debt collectors, who write to you months later stating that you have ignored the letter that they didn't send. They send a letter and notice to the owner together with no date demanding you pay within 7 Day They don't even answer the phone. Not even part of the Hop Poles group. They had a link to the pub chain and removed when I raised the misleading advertising. This is the Pub in Enfield (Baker St) Telephone numbers don't work. Had to call via messenger. We held a funeral wake at The Hop Poles and it was perfect. There was no charge for the private room and we could use their projector and screen and their sound system. Val’s Thai, based in the pub, did the catering and the food was amazing. Val will provide whatever food and menu you want. We wanted something different so we had a selection of Asian starters followed by jerk chicken, rice and peas, Asian slaw, lentil dhal.
