Big Coffee Energy!
I wrote a review here almost a year ago with feedback & the people at Well Bean have transformed the vibe!! This is an incredibly chilled out community spot with a wide variety of offerings from Sizeable Bagels to Homemade Cookies… you’ll never be at a loss for choice.
The service is fast, attentive & the servers always have such a warm glow about them when you put in your order… never shying away from conversation & wholesome energy!
WellBean also has a worthwhile loyalty program which unlike most chain coffee stores these days, offers both value & perks… always providing you with a reason to smile.
There are few places around that do Adaptogenic Coffees too! Their Flow Latte with Lionsmane & Rhodiola brings a great focus if you are on that vibe. If you are looking for a more chill vibes their Zen or Mojo will be sure to capture the energy!
They offer their coffee in sizes ranging from Small to XL, which is awesome!! Not many Coffee Cafe’s have this wide variety, unless it’s a chain… They did not offer this in the past & so it is a welcome change.
WellBean are very regularly stocked with the items out front but also have items out the back if the food you are looking for is missing; Don’t always count on it though… their food is delectable & so you gotta be fast if you want to ensure you can swing by & pick up what you are looking for…
The layout of the WellBean never feels overcrowded despite how busy it may seem inside, which is a really nice touch & one that is no doubt hard to figure out!
In closing of this probably too long review… The WellBean whilst it has had its fair share of struggles over the years… it’s safe to say that they are now at the top of their game when it comes to service, menu choice & vibes.
If you’re seeking chill vibes & great Coffee Haus food energy, this is the...
Read moreReally disappointing. Waited ages to try it and today I came specially from far away to check it out. It was always busy before and today was a bit quieter. I checked the menu before and it did say oat milk as standard. I think they have to mention that verbally, and it doesn't say on the menus inside. Inside there is no food they should say this is the menu and it's all made specially. Even croissants and other stuff wasn't out on display but there was a menu I'd feel silly to ask if it's not there. Even if you try to order from the table it doesn't say on the online menu that it's only oat milk. I drink all types, almond, whole milk, soy but you gotta make people aware it's not normal cow's milk. The presentation for a cortado was horrendous. They need to do a lot better. £2.30 for fake milk and bad presentation is not worth it. Cows milk is expensive real dairy and cream. Taste was okay but really bad aftertaste and can't taste the coffee well due to the disgusting alternative milk used. Decor is nice and location is really nice. The service is quite good and friendly, but just because of that I think people review a bit higher.
Foam on top was bad as well they don't know how to do a proper cortado it should be thick foam on the top it was more like a bad latte.
They have to learn how to do proper coffee with a good design and presentation otherwise they shouldn't run a coffee shop. Service was friendly and quick, however, they don't say hello or anything just grunt and look at you. Save yourself the trouble and go to Costa in Galleons Reach its much better. I hate big chain coffee shops, so I like to support small businesses. In this case I...
Read moreThe WellBean used to be a great place to go. It was very lowkey, had great vibes & a chilled atmosphere…
Nowadays the place is most than always packed out (Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, great that business is well!!) and they don’t have the staff to support it.
Most times than less on any given day you’ll see one person being able to take orders, which results in a long queue & by the time you have finished queueing, usually there is nothing left to purchase anyways!
You need to consider adapting your model of “Whatever is in the cabinet is what we have” (In Terms of Food) & increase the amount of produce you have to cope with the rising popularity of WellBean so that longtime customers don’t come in & are immediately turned away due to rude customers in the queue pushing in when you’re trying to pay stating they haven’t finished their order?? & the fact that most times than less, unless you get there super early upon opening & purchase the food you would like.
On several occasions they have been out of the adaptogenic coffee & have had a lacklustre selection of items because they have ran out… like I mentioned, it’s great that business is well for you guys post fire but I really think you should consider the way you look at supply and demand as it’s deterring longtime customers like myself. I would advise not just having what’s in the cabinet as what food items you have for the day & consider storing more in the back so that you can meet the high foot traffic that the WellBean is currently...
