Wenzel's the Bakers — Restaurant in London

I visited the shop on Monday, 13/11. I'm a regular customer, usually in the mornings. The person that served me on that day gave me good customer service, it was the first time that I saw that staff in the shop. In the shop there was another woman, I was too disgusted to look at her name, but I saw on her badge that she was shop manager. I think she recently got the job as before it was another lady as the shop manager. Anyway, this shop manager was speaking in her own language(romanian) with someone else in the back. She was referring to the boy that served me, naming him "the colour of the shoes", which in Romanian it is an extremely racist comment. Another day, the same week, an Indian lady served me, again that shop manager was speaking so rudely about her in Romanian. I don't understand how someone so racist, with so bad people skills can be a shop manager. If she is speaking so rudely about the staff that works with her I wonder how she speaks about customers. I was so disgusted by her comments that I stopped going to the shop. I'm not from Romania, but I understand and speak very well romanian and the same as me I'm sure that other people who are not Romanian understand the language. Never had an issue with this store until today. Great staff usually, great food and service with a smile which is why i come back here everyday.

Today, an employee named Valentina very rudely asked my fiancee to leave as we we're over the 2 customer limit which is not a problem, IF there wasn't a woman with 4 children, no masks, no gloves....loose in the store just before me to which Valentina said nothing ?

I pointed this out as she rudely told my fiancee to leave without any form of polite mannerisms, to which she replied " she's ok, she's with her kids"....

Both myself and my fiancee have been self isolating and whenever we leave the house, it's with gloves, mask, sanitzer and social distancing but today i have decided i will not return to this store thanks to Valentinas disgusting attitude and unfair rules on who specifically can break the rules and who can't.

Wenzel's has always been my go to place. But this particular store has rude staff that are not very accommodating to the needs of their customers. They make suggestions in fact kinda force them that we can't warm this sandwich up for you y don't u have the second one instead and the way they communicate is not sumthing ull be looking for. I have always been to their other branches and never felt like ds before. Their communication is definitely not very friendly and inviting. And mind you it was the second time this happened. I mean theres a big difference in politely explaining and shoving replies on someone.. Good customer service...
