William Bourne — Restaurant in London

Couldn’t find anything to eat on Sunday during lunch so can’t comment on food , I’ll put 2 stars for that and move on . Yeah no joke . No chickens , no steak , no burger , scared to ask if they have fish and chips bec there was nothing available on the menu .. But they welcome you with “ food served “ here sign .. funny ! If you’re planing on going there with family and friends make sure you call them in advance .. apparently we went there after a busy Saturday . Another funny excuse to reply a customer . A month ago we were here , there was no ice that time .. for our glass of wines or cocktails .. wish I took photos , we went there with kids , garden was in a terrible condition . Menus all over the ground , tables were left over plates , my 1 year old keep grabbing dirty tissues from the ground .. glasses , plates , sauces , dirty cutleries on every table and on every bench in the garden . We had to clear a bench and sit there by ourselves . Short of staff ? Don’t care . Saw 4 people behind the bar doing nothing but one was sitting and putting QR stickers for new menu when restaurant garden was full of rubbish . And kids were playing there . We went there with the least expectations , couple pints and a sharer or a burger , you know .. worst pub experience twice in such a short period of times . Recommended ? Nope don’t waste your money unless you go to watch...

I haven’t been to The William Bourne for nearly two years. I have a visitor from Sweden and I thought we’d go watch the Euro 24 men’s final in a pub just for fun. It was very crowded, as one would expect on a day like this. But we managed to order after a 10 minute queue, which is not bad, considering. Then we walked to the bar to order more drinks two minutes before the end of the 1st half. Over 20 minutes later, after Spain scored their first goal, I raised my hand trying to draw someone’s attention to us standing here for too long, this woman standing behind the bar came to me to tell me in an unfriendly manner don’t wave at us, we come to you when we can. I replied that I have waited here more than 20 minutes and the second half has started and Spain has scored while you’re serving people on my right and my left but not me. She said we did not see you, it’s very busy. I replied, there you go, I’m trying to make you see me. She replied: we don’t like people waving at us. I didn’t want to cause I scene or complain because it’s my visiting friend’s time not mine. I think she spoke to someone who came a minute later to serve us lukewarm drinks. My friend asked me to just take the drinks and go back to our table. Our table was taken, of course, and we hated the whole thing. I just apologised to my friend and decided not to come here ever again. I mean, what else...

We arrived here and seat in the garden, at first everything was fine our drinks and our kids food came out in really good time, until the pudding where they only sent out 1 even though we ordered 4, took about 15 minutes for the other to turn up, we ended up moving instead so that we could maybe eat as our kids was settle so could eat in abit of peace, I then ordered drinks through the app in which we had to go up to the bar twice and ask where our drinks was at this point kids was really ratty, we waiting 30 minutes for which I ended up going up again saying I don’t want the drinks and would like a refund 30 minutes for 4 drinks is a joke, too which the manager told me they had been busy yet when I come up someone who worked there asked for 2 Stella’s which had got poured right in front of me and then someone who came up to bar got serviced before me even though I was already standing there.. manager was extremely rude which you could tell by look on his face and body language, then for him to tell me it was busy which was why we was waiting, I wouldn’t mind no one was at the bar at all. It wasn’t as busy as earlier at all, we come here every now and then never had a problem until tonight, very shocked by this and way management had acted, I work within hospitality so I know the ins and out and this was disappointing to the end of...
