KFC Chessington - North Parade — Restaurant in London

They give you less food than you order on purpose. This has happened to us on too many occasions at Chessington North KFC for this not to be the case. Most recently I ordered 6 pieces of chicken and I specifically heard the lady serving instruct her colleague who was preparing the food to only give us 5 pieces, so it was no mistake. This confirms to me why when we've visited this store previously there's been occasions when we didn't receive the full order that we paid for. We're always polite to the staff and I don't understand why they feel the need to mistreat customers, unless purposely giving less food than ordered and paid for is a direct instruction from the management. Best to avoid Chessington North KFC in my opinion, but if you do use this store then always DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR ORDER before leaving the store to avoid being ripped off. As KFC goes a busy one is bad news because your order will take forever, and a quiet one, well the chicken is dry and stinks. I must say that at the time of visiting this particular store (after visiting Chessington World of Adventure at closing time) I personally found this to be the best KFC I've ever had. The food was all fresh, the chicken was red hot and everything was as expected. Even the new style chips were satisfactory. We ordered the relatively new addition to the menu, the £25+ party bucket. I've ordered this before and the cashier has frowned because I'm wiping out their stock of chicken pieces. These guys weren't phased and our order was honoured swiftly. Observing the other patrons it did not appear to delay their orders for too long either. The food was hot, tasty and fairly priced, everything I hope for when eating out. The 3 out the 4 times I've been it's been excellent. The food is served fast and fresh. On one occasion they were under staffed and food slightly over cooked and slow to arrive. This could be teething problems as it's a brand new shop (open only a few weeks). This branch also has 2 self service kiosks to help with order throughput speed. I'd rate this branch higher than Surbiton one if you had to pick. Damn those Zinger wings are good!

Edit: So I've revised my score down to 3 from 4 star. Last visit I was given 7up without 7up flavour (found out it was just fizzy water when I got home) and the zinger wings were way over cooked. They need to work on their...
