Yum Yum Caribbean Cuisine — Restaurant in London

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life 😂😂 then again pretty much every Caribbean shop has the same level of stank attitude and horrible service. Food is forever late it's like it's a written rule for Caribbean takeaways to be ridiculously late, I honestly waited an additional hour on top of my delivery time because they didn't have jerk chicken so it took them 30 mins to call me to ask me if I would like something else instead, they all completely botched my order pretty much didn't read one half of my order, so when my food arrived I had no rice no chicken, no patties no drink I called up to ask and not to my surprise someone was extremely rude and arrogant with me on the phone. Apparently I was the one that made the mistake and that she knew what I had ordered she then began to be even more rude and started raising her voice "No no no let me tell you what you ordered before you come and make noice on my phone".. she then paused and realised that she didn't scroll down on the order to see everything else 🙄🙄 anywho she apologised and sent me the food in a cab which literally took another 30mins 😂😂 when the food came it was cold and dry as hell😷😷 plus she asked me not to mention this to her boss fort hr mistake she made.... anyway I was rambling on long story short horrible service great food at times but a huge hit and miss!! More of a miss then hit by far.

We ordered two soup, one of them was chicken and the other was red peas soup. The chicken was off by a day or two, the smell was horrible. The red peas soup was bland with no taste and was too thick, the dumpling was very soft and mushy. They say that it’s freshly cooked but when you walk in it does not smell like anything is being cooked. I see a lot of fake reviews on here, probably getting paid. Clearly we have different taste bud and you could tell who shops here coz it ain’t us real Jamaicans. Seems like the cook is lying to the owner. I went there and told them about the food and he still had the audacity to dispute it just because I told him that I didn’t like the food. I only got refunded for the chicken soup. Learn how to take criticism and learn from it instead of trying to argue just because they feel embarrassed. I wouldn’t recommend my real Caribbean’s to go here, I...

This undoubtedly is authentic carribbean cuisine, they seem to be always fully stocked which is a plus. For the second time in a long while, i found that the festival does taste a bit stale like it has neen frozen and defrosted then warmed. It should be more softer and fluffier with a bite maube pinch more connamon ot all spice. The dimplings are much better tastes fresher. Ackee and saltfish was a bit greasy. It is lovely but I think more love needs to be put in the food.. This is not the best carribbean place in Enfield and tge prices are quite desr compared to other places. The food is just edible.
