My recent experiences at The Fox and Goose Pub/Restaurant have been nothing short of delightful, prompting me to share my appreciation for this hidden gem. From a memorable birthday celebration to a cozy Sunday roast with live music, every visit has been a testament to the warmth and excellence this establishment offers.

The Fox and Goose graciously hosted a party of 22 for my husband's birthday, and the evening was an absolute success. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our group felt welcome and attended to. The delicious dinner and drinks surpassed our expectations, leaving everyone raving about the culinary delights provided.

What truly sets this establishment apart is the impeccable service. The staff at The Fox and Goose exude genuine hospitality, making every interaction a pleasure. Their attentiveness during the birthday celebration added a personal touch that made the evening extra special for my husband and our guests.

Since that memorable night, we've become regular patrons, returning for the Sunday roast and live music. The roast was succulent, and the live music added a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere to the cozy pub setting. It's evident that The Fox and Goose is committed to providing a well-rounded experience, catering not only to culinary cravings but also to the desire for a lively and enjoyable ambiance.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Fox and Goose to everyone I meet. It's a true joy to support a local, family-run establishment that excels in every aspect of hospitality. Thank you to the entire team at The Fox and Goose for consistently looking after us and creating such memorable moments. Here's to many more visits and continued success for this outstanding...

The standard of pub food in Bearsted in exemplary. Unfortunately, the Fox & Goose has to live in the shadow of its more established siblings. It is by all accounts and nice pub, but lacks the character of the likes of Oak on the Green. Service is enthusiastic, humble, accommodating and caring. It does need more attention and lacks the professionalism and Precision of its siblings. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was quality homemade food. The king prawn and crayfish vermicelli dish was my pick of the dishes. An Asian inspired dish packing bags of flavour from the sesame seed oils and spices. Delicious. The homemade pie was crumbly, and those boiled potatoes were melt in the mouth soft and flavoursome. Quality food, service needs tweaking, warm comfortable...

So disappointed..went for the first time and had roast for my birthday. The starter was lovely but the roast dinner was dire. There were 2 slices of meat,2 roast potatoes that were roasted to within an inch of their life and rock hard, one tiny Yorkshire pudding and enough veg for 2 people, there were 4 of us. We asked for more veg some different potatoes..total bill was ยฃ120 and we only drank coke. No one came over to apologise and the price was extortionate, when you pay those prices for a Sunday roast you expect the best. I've been other pubs for Sunday roast in the area, and they have been half the price and much more enjoyable. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Would have been nice to be offered a free drink but nobody...

This is a great little pub with lovely bar staff and waitresses, very friendly and helpful. The place is well frequented and has a great atmosphere and ambiance...... had Sunday roasts (lamb and rib eye of beef) that were the best pub roast we've had in ages. EVERYTHING was delicious and perfect especially the cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and gravy I wish I could emulate. Good selection of beers, house white wine was delicious and everything at fair prices. Can't fault the Fox and Goose. Thoroughly recommend.

On this occasion, the food was just okay. It was generally well presented, but felt pre-prepared and heated up, rather than cooked to order (A common strategy in many places I'm sure.). Some vegetables were overcooked, and the chili con carne just didn't feel freshly made. The Thai stir fry was good. The pana cota was very good, the ice cream was, icy. The waitress we had was under training, but was careful and attentive, and did very well indeed. The general atmosphere was very pleasant. We would try again.
