Krishna's style and aesthetic is different to what you may associate with a curry house, exposed beams and a rustic feel welcome you as you step into the low ceiling mid terrace building. This added to the relaxed vibe of the restaurant with pleasant music and the murmurs of other customers filling the space. We were seated by a very helpful member of staff who then helped guide us through the menu as we discussed our usual order, whilst searching for a Chef Special to try. We selected the Chicken Tikka Labadar, which was exactly as the waiter described and the best of the dishes we ordered on the night. The dining experience at this curry house was generally pleasant, with well-cooked dishes that left little room for complaints. While decent, the Dhansak and Chicken Tikka Masala fell into the middle ground without any inspiring flavours to rave about. The preparation of the dishes was commendable, yet an element was missing from each, leaving a sense of something lacking. A thoughtful gesture from the host included an extra portion of Onion bhajis, adding a nice touch to the meal, though they too fell short of making a lasting impression. For a casual curry night out locally, Krishna hits the mark, but for those seeking a more refined dining experience, it might be worthwhile to explore options beyond the local scene. RAW CHICKEN SERVED !!!! Today’s experience is definitely one i had to share. Whilst working locally i found this restaurant and thought id treat myself to a nice lunch…. I ordered a curry which was £15. When it arrived the meat looked raw so i took it to the counter and showed the staff, instead of being polite about it they then stood in front of me cutting up every piece of chicken and stated its not raw, then passing back the cut up food!! The lady then proceeded to make a scene saying if you dont believe me come into the kitchen!!! To have your dinner chopped up like a toddler and for staff to act like that i feel is extremely rude. Hopefully others dont have the same

Service and atmosphere at the Indian restaurant was attentive and friendly. As Indian food goes the meals are expensive wherever you visit but for 4 drinks, 2 starters, 2 mains, shared rice, shared naan bread and 1 side for over £70 is really EXPENSIVE. I had a chef special of chana chicken, my husband had chicken madras and both dishes were both so hot and spicy, especially the chana chicken which was rated a 1 🌶 and it was too much and not enjoyable. It was our first date night in over a year and was just a little disappointed with the food that night.

We arrived on a bank holiday Easter Monday to take advantage of the half price Monday evening. We weren’t expecting amazing but we were expecting more than what we received. Arrived at 6:15pm and was pointed to our table. There was a very large table sat near us which was perfectly fine and we had assumed the wait would be longer than normal. We waited over an hour for our main course which as I said we expected but what I didn’t expect was for all the food to be cold on arrival. There was a lady who quite clearly worked for the business serving tables with her handbag still on her shoulder and absolutely no attempt to dress accordingly to serve customers!!! When I complained said handbag lady came to our table and offered my son to microwave his meal !!!!! When I told her until no circumstances was that acceptable she quickly backtracked. She replaced my meal as I was the one complaining and paying but left everybody else’s. My replacement meal arrived once everybody else at my table had finished and she said she was only offering a microwave meal to my son as an option !!!! Not sure about you guys but when I go out for a meal I don’t expect a restaurant to offer guest an option of a microwave meal. Rubbish food, awful customer service, staff who appeared to have been dragged off of the street but it did save me £20.00 !!! Absolutely not worth it and will never ever be back. Just as a last note, the manager couldn’t even make eye contact with me when I left his restaurant, even though he took full payment for the meal. No apologies!!! He should be ashamed of what...

Been here before food wasn’t the best best but thoughtif support a local restaurant with my custom, had the worst experience ever today, actually got it on video as well just because I was from a different minority. The owner of the restaurant put me out because they were saying I was being too loud, but I was actually by myself, wasn’t even speaking, there was a table with four others beside me speaking really loud and trying to intimidate me because I wasn’t wearing it they complain to the owner about me. Not before I complain to the owner about them, but just because there are four of them and one of me he decided to put me out he asked me did I want to take a seat outside for the convenience I asked him what convenience he must’ve thought I was a dog absolutely horrible service. I would not recommend a dog to eat out of here absolutely horrible people do not use please do not use to actually think I used to use this on a regular basis, just because I was supporting a local business when there was far better quality food, local by I am absolutely horrified from the experience I’ve never been so disappointed the owners of this restaurant must be ashamed yourself I will never use it again or to recommend...
