Magic Wok Chinese Takeaway — Restaurant in Maidstone

I had given up on chinese in Maidstone then discovered this wee gem Magic Wok up the road from me and it is the best Chinese in Maidstone by a longshot. Satay sauce is lush and has actual peanuts in it! Even simple dishes like a plain chowmein are done brilliantly and full of flavour and you can taste the "wok hay" in dishes. Highly recommend the Singapore noodles or fried rice, again just perfect and actually has a kick to it! The food is never bland or boring and if you make a special requests like swap sweet and sour sauce for curry they will actually do it! Food used to be great but recently got a spring roll that had been fried so many times that the outside was black and the inside was really slimy House special noodles were nice but the gravy was full of msg Fault I would try again placed my order on Saturday night at 1700 and they said it would be delivered at 1800 then 20 mins later the phone rang and they said they were to busy to deliver so they cancelled my order ,so I've found a new takeaway so they have lost me as a customer. Food is good, but service is far past poor! Order took over 2 hours to arrive (ordered at 18:50) (arrived 20:58) but after the first hour and half I rung up and was told the driver had left (I live less then 5 mins away) it didn’t turn up for another half hour, which meant the lady on the phone lied, if you are running late then be honest rather then flog people off with lies, not to mention we was given “freebies” because they knew they was at fault but then seem to of forgotten an item that was actually ordered, so unorganised and unprofessional service it’s...
