Amigos Takeaway — Restaurant in Manchester

This evening we have ordered a takeaway for 6 people where the order was placed at 6:40pm and we didn’t receive the food until 8:00pm. We only ordered 2 pizzas and 3 kebabs and live around 5-10 mins away from this restaurant and on a Wednesday night I believe service should take no longer than half an hour. We phoned at 7:30pm to enquire the whereabouts of our food and the answer to which was that it was 5 minutes away and then eventually 20 minutes later it arrived. Warm but not fresh or piping hot. Adding to this one of the meals missed a portion of chips off leaving a child without a full meal. This is not the first time that food has taken over an hour to arrive for similar medium sized orders. This is completely unprofessional and a huge lack of care and attention for customers. Shocking service or lack of. Phoned up to make an order for delivery and when we gave postcode they said they couldn’t find us on their maps.. we explained we are a new build area only a mile away and gave an alternative postcode that’s next to our street... they also said they couldn’t find us and suggested if we are only a mile away we can just pick up. The whole point of us ringing up for a DELIVERY is because we don’t wanna drive (We’ve had a few drinks watching football). They made no attempt to find us on their maps as I said we are on google maps. Lost out on a £30 order and we eat takeaways twice a month. Rating purely from the perspective of an ex-Teessider wanting a parmo, these are as close you are going to get to a Boro takeaway parmo in Manchester. Yes, Manjaros do those massive ones that aren't quite right to me, more restaurant-style, Amigos 'Chicken Parmesan' itch that scratch for smoggies wanting their parmo fix in East Manchester. Took 1/2 star off for the fact that they are quite pricey (basic one £9.80 😱 but it's quality 🐔) and another half for lack of choice of toppings. And yes even if you ask for no salad you still get it 50 percent...
