The older staff member just before 4pm Monday 28th at the drive through was very rude. They couldn't get my blue light discount off the app to work, they couldn't offer an alternative solution, (which is fine and the younger staff member was polite enough but obviously too busy to continue helping). However, the initial staff member then said "do you want it or should I cancel it" without offering any kind of apology or asking politely what we wanted to do. A simple 'sorry I can't do that, what would you like to do' would have satisfied us. She also hadn't asked what size of meal we wanted and we assumed it was what was displayed on the drive through menu (regular). So instead of being able to use a discount and pay an expected undiscounted price, I got charged full price for a larger than expected meal. Train your staff to ask the important questions, and to not be so rude. I didn't argue at all because we were bloody hungry after what was a really long wait considering there was only one car ahead of us, and I rather avoid confrontation, but the manager needs to know the service was appalling. If you can, skip this KFC and go to Denton Rock. They can actually run a business there.

Furthermore, I ordered 3 kids box meals which was all stuffed into one box. Not only this I asked for 2 chicken popcorn meals and one mini burger. I received 2 mini burgers and one chicken fillet. How can I feed the kids individually from one box not only that but instructions for sauces and salads that we didn’t need were not followed. This is not the first time they have missed things from my order or lacked the care and professionalism to give me what I ordered. Staff need to be more attentive and learn how to actually work in a fast food restaurant. Doing what is asked of them rather than cutting corners to save 2 seconds is not worth it. Just do ur job properly. Cashier name was Sri. Please train her properly when dealing with customers. Not impressed at all.

This lack of professionalism and customer service is disappointing, as attentive and proactive staff can significantly enhance the dining experience, even in a fast food setting. Friendly, efficient service is a key component of any restaurant, and the absence of this element is quite noticeable here.

In conclusion, my repeated visits to this fast food restaurant have been consistently unsatisfactory. The poor quality of the food, particularly the undercooked chicken, combined with the dirty seating area and unengaged staff, make it difficult to recommend this establishment to others. We ordered a boneless bucket . The food arrived . The sides are completely wrong . We ordered mash and received beans and corn on the cob, awful sides . The boneless chicken was hot the fries were ok but we like the mash : the popcorn chicken was freezing and the bbq chicken was barely warm . The cold chicken was not my gripe if I’m honest it was the sides. I spoke to the manager Nixon who was basically trying to say I will see what went on with the bag checkers . I have the sides here I don’t need my sides replacing if I ate the others which I haven’t because there disgusting: anyway I just said right so there is clearly a problem mistakes have been made and there not my mistakes . He just could not be get his head around the fact that I’m the customer I’ve paid £35 for an order that’s not only cold but the sides are wrong . Nixon if that really is his name promised to phone back . That’s 2 hours ago and he hasn’t rang back and he is now not answering the phone at Hyde road kfc. The fact he wanted to make sure I hadn’t ordered it. The fact the order shows they have made the mistake . I will see what I can do . I hardly ever leave reviews but I've been to this kfc a few times now and almost every time, I leave feeling annoyed because of how rude the lady at the drive thru is. I went today and ordered a meal that is on the offers menu and when I get to the window to pay and she tells me full price, I tell her it's on offer and at this point she looked even more annoyed than she standardly does and pretty much tells me off for not telling her when I ordered that i wanted it as an offer and how she has too void the transaction now. She hardly even allowed me the opportunity to tell her it's an offer when I ordered as she cuts in quickly saying anything else and drive to the window and also, should she not be aware of the offers anyway. I decided to check reviews for this store to see if anyone else had any bad experiences with member of staff and to absolutely no suprise the first review I read is regarding a bad experience with an older lady at the checkout. I'm very sure their review is regarding the same member of staff I have mentioned in my review, in fact I guarantee it. I was polite, pleasant and respectful throughout the whole transaction yet she made me feel like I irritated her.
