Newall Green — Restaurant in Manchester

Haven't been here for years. I love this pub. It's cleaner than it was, actually its spotless . Great looking building,nice staff. Smoking area with heaters,large interior also outside space.

They put on great weekends,karaoke mix with disc,bingo in the afternoon and nights during the week, quizzes,food etc. The day i went there was a band on THE BAND WITH NO NAME. All from wythenshawe and also regulars. THEY WERE BRILLIANT. From the drummer the bassist the lead guitar rhythm guitar to vocalist. Thy played covers but ,HILIGHT OF THEIR SET the cranberrys zombie. Played and sang perfectly.

This is the sort of pub dat actually tries and keep live music going especially local bands. I had a cider just right. I can't say enough about this place. PLEASE keep it going by...

Having lost our way due to lack of continual Diversion signs, we called here just for a desperate comfort break. Lady behind the bar Lisa, gave me key to loo and even came to make sure I was OK. It was beautiful and clean and both staff and customers were very kind and helpful. Lisa even rang her partner to get best directions for us to follow to get us further towards our destination. Took my Mum for a Birthday drink this afternoon but sadly we could only just stay for one and not the afternoon we had planned for her. Far too loud music and bingo caller... even for my 18 Yr old nephew. We enjoy music and a drink but also to be able to hear each other shouting to each other.
