The Jane Eyre has a charming ambiance that makes you feel at home. However, our visit was marred by significant service issues.
After being seated for drinks, we were asked to move to another table within 20 minutes to accommodate restaurant seating. This was particularly challenging for my father, who is disabled and whose needs had already been seen by the staff. Unfortunately, we received no apology for the inconvenience.
Once moved, we were informed that our new table had a strict 20-minute time limit, which was frustrating given we had just spent nearly £70 on drinks. Clearer communication about time limits would have been appreciated.
