I went for afternoon here with my mum and sister on Wednesday, and it was absolutely amazing. The cafe itself has a lot of character and a lovely atmosphere, the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help and to make sure we had a lovely visit. I'm vegan and I'm used to expecting the usual bare minimum, as long as I can eat something I'm happy. But the afternoon tea was phenomenal - I knew it was a good sign when they had 3 varieties of plant milk to choose from rather than just soya! Then when the food came I had a variety of sandwiches and coleslaw, a scone and a gorgeous lemon cake. And without even asking I was given all assurance that they had used vegan ingredients.

We had the traditional breakfast and that was superb. Came out freshly cooked, nothing left drying under a hot plate here! Even the toast was amazing - proper crusty bread.
