Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

The Dorritch Costa is located near to Sainsbury's and the supermarket car park is the most convenient one to use if combining a shopping trip with a coffee break. The coffee when I visited was good, although I find Costa's use of very heavy cups to be a less attractive aspect of the service. As far as the service from the members of staff, it was both friendly and efficient. The ambience, especially the lighting is a little dim. Hi, Service was poor, staff were not helpful or greeted like others I used. Had a promotion for two drinks for £6.00 and got charged 45p extra for no reason. Sandwiches are expensive and not even appetising. Shop was nearly empty but I can see why. Salted caramel frappe was bland and just like milk.

I have tried this Costs twice now with the same result.

I've been very disappointed with this location a few times because they lack the range of vegan items that they should have. Even the best locations need to do better but the Dorridge Costa is woefully lacking in vegan sandwiches and other items. Also, the cafe is a bit too bright and open... Not enough quiet...
