Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Mid Devon

A regular half way stop for me spoiled yesterday morning around 10-00 am. There should be nothing wrong with asking for a Cortado extra hot, butter for the toast, instead of ‘spread’, which the busy operator couldn’t be bothered to go get some more, plus 2 slices of toast (one smaller than the other) Ok, no problem, but only to find that it was the small crust. Tried to get click and collect here, waited for 10 mins and went to the till been told the order hasn’t gone through. Asked one of the staff for a reason he said he got no clue. Just want to say a huge thank you to the staff member here who helped my wife out when she wasn't allowed inside with our dog. The staff member noticed her trying to queue, took her order and bought the coffee out to her at our car - all free of charge!
