Freshfills — Restaurant in Mid Suffolk

I would give than minus 1* if i could. I brought 2 cream cakes brought to be eaten sameday. After getting home noticed had mould spots on the bottom of both. After taking them back i was told it was from the tray they were served on. I was offered replacement cakes but couldn't bear the thought of eating anything else. Never again... AVOID! Lets hope i dont get sick after eating part of one and being 7 months pregnant. I cant say i thought the apology was very sincere too. The staff seemed like they couldn't care less!

Owners responded 3 yrs post my review and remembers me? I posted one review as have never gone back after demanding my money back. Awful bakery and a very slack owner if its taken 3 yrs to respond that I was not pregnant. 7 months pregnant is very noticeable. Perhaps the owner needs their eyes checking. May have spotted the mould she was serving...

Used to go here a lot but won't bother again. Food good but service terrible. Had to wait 15 minutes even though there were 3 women serving. One had stopped & was chatting to a customer (not about their order) even though the queue was going out of the door! One didn't seem to want to serve anyone if she could get away with it & the third moved at a snail's pace. You could see that most of the queue (10-12 people) were in their lunch break but there was no urgency from the staff. One man asked what was in the hand-made sausage rolls & was told "I don't know, the person who made them went home". They seemed irritated that they were busy with one server complaining that everywhere else was shut. Customer service at...

The bakery is wonderful, with all the choices and bits to pick from. Speed and consistency are where it falls apart, at least for the rush hour of lunch which is when we've visited. Started going here from the beginning of the year and the quality was amazing, but the past few times has not been great. Undercooked jacket potatoes etc. They also suffer from very slow service, so if you go on your lunch break be prepared to lose most of it waiting. It is a shame because when they get it right it is wonderful and worth the wait,but it hasn't...
