Well what can I say? This has got to be one if not the best fast food experiences that I have ever had. But let me explain. We stopped off just for a "quick" burger because that is normally what fast food is about, however, we were served by Claire who was very friendly and very knowledgeable about her products. I was now a little hungry and asked for something BIG and she sold me everything (Triple burger, triple cheese and bacon!) washed down with a coke, some fries, some chicken wings and some mozzarella sticks. There were two of us and the total cost was £22. But the best was yet to come. Normally what you see on the menu looks very different to what you get in a the box but on this occasion, the burgers that we received looked amazing and by that I mean that the lettuce was nice, the burger was not squashed, there wasn't any grease dripping off anything. In fact I was so impressed with the burger that we asked to speak to the manager and told her.
Yes, £22 does seem like a lot of money to spend on a burger but you know, no one put a gun to my head, the service was extremely good and the food was hot, tasty and very well presented. I would recommend to anyone who has ever had fast food to try this one.
Hope that your experience is as...

We wanted to try Burger King as we rarely have it. We don’t know the menu so went in and headed to the self serve machines where you can see the menu items. Both kiosks had a “not in use” handwritten sign on them so we were called by the server to the counter to order.
The screens behind him just played adverts so no menu, we asked if they had a menu to check and got told it’s on the app - blunt as that; as if we were inconvenient for asking. It’s not like we were asking for the earth…
We stepped aside to try and find it but in the end couldn’t be bothered and thought if they can’t be bothered to help us then we won’t give our money. If the self serve machines have failed then maybe offer an in store menu of some kind? Even if it’s just a single laminated A3 sheet on the counter - it really isn’t difficult. Or even stop the ads on the screen behind the counter and show a menu there… also the kiosks probably did work as they were all lit up playing more ads. But anyway.
In the end we walked out and went...
Read moreIf I could have given zero stars I would have. I visited this Burger King at the start of the week and after waiting nearly 15 minutes to be server I was told they were not able to serve Beef Products. No explanation just we are not able to serve Beef Products. Has Burger King been buying horse meat again!! This is the second time this sort of thing has occurred when I have visited this particular restaurant in the last two years and I have only been in there five times during that time, as I prefer to drive even further out of my way commuting home to visit the Burger King in Hove which is head and shoulders above this BK.
One thing further, this Burger King is situated at major A23 services yet it closes at 7pm. Probably because they are unable to organise enough stock to last till 7pm each day. But should you be hungry after 7pm you will need to have stopped at Pease Pottage, who have much more flexible opening hours and are able to plan enough supplies so that Pease Pottage is a Burger King that not to keep running...
