Fetcham Tandoori — Restaurant in Mole Valley

What a load of rubbish, extremely poor quality, Onion starters full of fat,curry very distasteful, total waste of money, took food back. All of it. Please go elsewhere. no refund at the moment burger king taste better. Just an update folks. money still not refunded as promised. Date is now 2nd of May. I do understand that this VERY RUDE man is the councilor for Fetcham. When I complained he stated that he would return my money back and stated not to to return or order again ?. that comment was a red flag to a bull. also stated that his courier could not find Cannon Grove in Fetcham, so we had to meet them at the doctors surgery. After his comments over the phone, I drove down and gave his uneatable food back in person at Fetcham Tandoori. From now on I shall continue to use the Five Rivers in Leatherhead. food a hell of lot better. My wife works in the funereal business and I am a construction manager. so we are not just riff raff as we were treated. So Fetcham Tandoori, when can you advise me when will you do the honest and right thing by returning my money of £58 and change your attitude towards people complaining. I await your response ?

Made an order for collection, when arrived I was waiting at the entrance for over 10 mins while all of the staff ignored me, other people who came in afterwards where ushered straight in and given seats whie they waited. There were other people who, like me seemed to be ignored and had been waiting a long time for there take away. Eventually I got someone to check if my order was ready. We were charged a few pound more then the price we had looked at when he had thought about ordering online (we called the order in in the end). When we got home with the food it was cold, this is the first curry house I have encountered that does not give any sauce with onion Bhajis, my passanda was very watery and really tasteless, this is my normal dish from other curry houses so it was not great in comparission, I left half of it and shared my husbands chicken tikka madras, which is usually too hot for me but this one, while it tasted nice had no heat at all so good for me but disappointing for him. All in all with the bad service and bland food, a very pricey and disappointing meal, we will not be ordering...

Wow. This is all my partner and I could say whilst eating our collected takeaway this evening. The lamb in my dish was succulent, very tasty, and melted in the mouth. My partners chicken was exactly the same. The sauce with the dish was thick and creamy, not in the slightest bit watery. The keema naan had plenty of meat in the middle while being very well made and cooked. We also had the mint sauce and mango chutney which was delicious and came with their own branded labels which described the ingredients. The whole package was beautifully presented in their own branded thick paper bag. Upon opening, all the food was hot, and smelt amazing. Finally the rice, which can often get overlooked, was aromatic and beautifully cooked with incredible flavour. Worth every penny. Without doubt, the best curry we have had in a VERY long time. Well done to the team, we will be back for a sit down meal again very soon, as it has been a while since we last visited in...
