The Glen — Restaurant in New Forest

Decided to have a Sunday roast. In this pub …the welcome by the girl was very nice brought out the menus and drinks etc (best lime and soda ever ) we three had roast which was delicious (next time no gravy on the yorkie. Thanks ) my daughter had the child portion of cheeseburger and chips yep she isn’t a child but would not need a full adults plate and they did not even question her age even tho she was on pints of lager )…the pudding of apple crumble and double custard was huge well enough for two of us to share. And very tasty ..the pub had people there really enjoying the outdoor garden and plenty inside just like a pub should be…no aggro just happy people everywhere Ps roast beef or three meats was about £13 pudding £5 ..what a bargain and do I want to cook a roastie again for me and my girl …nope it will definitely be a booked table at the glen…I apologise for not tipping…will make sure next time I will leave a...

Normally meet my wife here for early dinner when she finishes work at least once a month. Car park is quite often full of workmens trucks who also use for dinber. Today she had ham egg and chips and i had a gammon. Good god chef must have thought i was two people. A very large thick gammon with fried egg and pineapple slice. Chips, mushrooms, onion rings,2 fried tomatos peas and salad. Very nice indeed but now suffering cos ate toi much. Definitely...

Terrible. The food order was incorrect when it arrived with the waitress asking "you ordered food?" When we said yes she put the tray on the table and walked off. After waiting another 6 minutes she brought the rest of our meals but stopped half way across the pub to speak to another customer about their meals. We went across to her and took our meals from her as we had been waiting so long. The toilet situation is also a debacle. Won't...
