We visited this resturant on a Saturday lunchtime. I had reserved however it wasn’t needed as it wasn’t busy. However what I will say is even though it wasn’t busy at that particular time, the phone was ringing off the hook for bookings constantly. I can see why. The food was amazing. Quentin was our server. He was super kind, attentive (but not too much) and was very welcoming which was nice.

We were offered prawn crackers with sweet chilli dip. These felt fresh and were flavoursome. There was a special lunchtime menu. I went for this and my guest had two starters (smaller appetite) I had the chicken satay to start, the sauce was lovely. Beautiful flavour, good temperature and tasty. The chicken had a nice marinade and was throughly cooked. My guest had the fish patties. Tad on the hot (spicy) side for her so we swapped halfway through. I found them to be manageable and tasty, not too fishy if that makes sense.

For main I had the garlic and pepper stir fry with beef and my guest had the tempura prawn starter. OMG the stir fry was just amazing. Honestly I couldn’t fault it. If I could have had another one I would have but I wanted to save room for desert lol

The coconut mousse was ok. Consistency was light and the taste was nice. I would have liked the coconut to be stronger but that’s just me. I chose the mango and passion fruit coulis which went well. The cheesecake was good too. We wanted to try two desserts that were shown as being home made.

I can safely say I will be going back, I have other things I want to try on the menu. A nice location, very easy to park and just a really nice place to sit, watch the world go by and eat...

We would like to say a huge huge thank you for allowing us to have our wedding reception at the Thai Corner. Where do we start. The tables, the decoration were absolutely fabulous. The ambiance was breathtaking. The food , well what can we say..it was superb!! Every morsel was eaten!

You went above and beyond. For once we were lost for words. Thank you does not convey our gratitude. Both of you 2 fabulous people who we are so lucky to call our friends, went way above our expectations, also a massive thank you to Charlie & Finn. You were and are, all amazing. Popped in last night (Tuesday) on the off chance of a table. It looked busy and we were lucky and literally took the last table for 2. We had a sharing platter to start which consisted of Thai sausages chicken satay and spring rolls. I had monkfish in batter with chilli sauce and husband ordered fish platter. We had special fried rice and a pad Thai to go with it. Everything was fresh hot and extremely tasty. Ooy's cooking is always good and Quentin as ever the perfect host. The waiter was also friendly. Would highly recommend....

Whilst visiting a good friend this side of the Southampton Water in Hythe, we were greeted by a friendly waitress at this Thai restaurant. We didn’t have to wait or book in advance. There is plenty of room with easy access. The food is very good and I left absolutely nothing. I had the “🌶️🌶️🌶️” jungle curry for main and it was fantastic. On the level of a Madras heat wise. Altogether a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend it. It does get busy so possibly you could call ahead to see if there’s seats available.

What a wonderful restaurant. First time we've been there. We had the sharing starter with chicken satay, ribs and battered prawns. All delicious and 4 of each so plenty to share. Then had red curry, stir fry and noodles. Again delicious and good sized portions. Banana fritters to finish were great too. Will be back to try something else! Been back again May 23. Again a brilliant choice of dishes. Loads of BBQ ribs for starter and delicious soup. Green curry wasn't too hot so just right. Loved it.
