Me my partner and friend all got a Burger King today, with it being Good Friday and our options limited as things were closing it was a forced decision, however we had heard good things about this ārestaurantā so we gave it a try. Upon arrival it was quiet, possible one or two other people waiting for their food and a few people dining in. We placed our order, it was not a pressingly large order it was considerable. My partner works in the food production industry and noticed little to no standards regarding basic food hygiene, one lady walking in kitchen with hair down no hat, no hair net, no one wearing gloves when handling food. My partner queried this and they explained it was more of a biohazard. Generally the staff seemed to be lacking, the individual calling out food numbers did so quietly and no other staff member corrected him and in general poor social communication skills in all individuals. Anyway, as said before it was considerably quiet when we arrived, soon after it got busier until everyone else had ordered and collected, with us and one other person still waiting. We waited in all between 30-45 minutes to get our food and only received it as we approached the counter to ask what had happened when they explained they had deleted it. The food was cold, made half heartedly due to the forgetting of our order, and we were not offered any apologies regarding the situation or any forms of consolation. On a further note, all 3 of us have ended up unwell, and unable to participate in plans. Completely unsatisfied and appalled with this experience and will not be eating at Burger King again, even if it was the last thing open. Both times with uber eats and then deliveroo they have delivered half the order with no burgers and they reckon the staff haven't "communicated" with the delivery driver and that it's the driver fault not there's but how can that be possible with the same issue happening twice with 2 different delivery services? As well as the fact when you speak to the staff on the phone they seem to find it hilarious and that they're not at fault. Terrible service do not use this place if you're looking for food. Cars were pipping and the woman on the headset was having a conversation not realising everyone on the drive thru could hear. Went in and ordered. Big queue of people. They closed the drive thru then turned off the order screens. Waited 40 mins and gave up and asked for a refund. Absolute joke. At least have the decency to tell people the waiting time. A customer asked why theyād shut the drive thru and the manager said she was the only one trained on it. Train the poor staff! It was embarrassing.
