Strawberry Fields Bakery — Restaurant in Newark and Sherwood

Went into the bakery today and it is cash only - not a problem as there is a cash point over the road. Ordered 2 x warm sausage Rolls, a warm corned beef pasty and a minced beef and onion pie. Went over to the cash point and came back.

The pastries were warmed in the microwave so were soggy and horrible, i ended up binning them, the pie was frozen for some reason. After wasting £15 I came home. This is when I tried to eat the warm food but it was inedible. I left the pie on the side. I have just went to put the pie in the oven, and after being charged £6.50 for it (Lime Tree Pie) the use by date says 08/06/23. It is almost 2-months out of date... not the Best Before date, the USE BY date! This was not explained and charged in full. What a disgrace of a shop! What a waste of money! AVOID! go to Coop over the road. No wonder small businesses are going out of business when they serve this illegal slop...
