Lymedale Bar & Dine — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

I’ve visited the Lymedale bar twice now and I think it’s one of the best restaurants in town, a real hidden gem! You really get your money’s worth here because the food portions are absolutely huge! The beef in the steak and ale pie was beautiful - tender with no fat. The crunchie waffle was the highlight for me, I would go back just for this. For just £5.75, you get a huge Belgian waffle, 2 huge scoops of ice cream, loads of squirty cream, lashings of chocolate sauce, a crunchie bar and what seems to be an entire bag of crunchie rocks! I genuinely cannot fault the food in any way! The staff here are extremely welcoming and happy to accommodate you in any way. The place was also decorated beautifully for Halloween. We were the only group here tonight, to my surprise. You should be fully booked every night because of how great you’ve made the place! My only criticism is that the cubicles in the ladies toilets are quite small but that can’t be helped. Great...

Wow..what a absolute brilliant night for my lads 18th meal. Food was on another level.. 50 of us dining on a 3 course meal and we all ate together which normally when this many we dont . Staff were on the ball and honestly can't explain how good it went. Definitely got loads of new customers. I always Leave the best review I can and won't lie. This was the best of the best . 11/10 . It really is that good . Please book in and give it a go. Was expecting it to be expensive on the drinks but it's way Cheaper than 3 of the local pubs also that rnt to far away feom this beautiful place . We have passed here many times and wondered what It was like to eat here. Last night 4 of us booked for a meal. On entering the restaurant it was spotlessly clean (toilets too). The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. The food came out piping hot and presented lovely. We all had different main courses and all of them were delicious. They checked to make sure everything was ok. There was a party of 50 school children with their teachers and all the food came out looking really good and piping hot.
