Subway — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

I was served a soggy steak sandwich that looked like it had been for a swim around apedale lake suitable for feeding the ducks. The bread of soaked in liquid from the steak placed on my sandwich scrapped from the bottom of the tin. The sandwich maker asked for fresh but proceeded to give me bottom of the pan leftovers .

Like a prior person mentioned aswell it was not very toasted or hot despite being requested to be. Nothing worse than a soggy wet sandwich that was practically drowning but a call to the not so helpful liverpool road franchise was met by 0 help and a "thats just the way it is sometimes". Im pretty sure a toddler in a subway play kitchen could offer better customer care. Sandwich was binned wont be returning to this branch likely for...

I’ve been to this branch twice now - the first time they ran out of hearty Italian (my sub of choice but ok fine, I can pick something else). They also ran out of meatballs, but to be fair this was later in the evening.

The second time I went for lunch. My heart Italian sub was partially stale - after toasting, one part crumbled, other parts were a little chewy. It also didn’t feel hot after being toasted. I was also served for salad after someone else even though I was in front of them in the queue.

They also had the cold aircon on even though the temperature was 16 degrees (tap water) outside.

I was not told about any offers they had, asked if I had a subcard, and the meal options I could have selected.

Ordered with just eat. Had my order cancelled due to the time and the wonderful staff phoned me immediately to ask if I could accept an earlier delivery. Then had my order cancelled due to the lack of meat I wanted and again they called me straight away. Although this was a bit of a palaver they were friendly, polite and happy to help as best they could! So I was more than happy to adjust my order. Previous order and delivery had no problems at all. 9/10 will definitely order again seen as it's great food and the staff (in shop & delivery) went that extra mile...
