I use to work in Uber delivery and I pick up the Oder from west Denton McDonald’s before I take the order I ask them twice is that right order and they told yes it’s is.when I go to drop the costumer house and she take the order and suddenly she realised that’s a wrong order and she told me this is not my order and I can’t accept it.and I explained to her nicely am not work for McDonald’s and I work for Uber eats and she don’t accept it what am saying finally I agree with her okay give me 20minit and go to the McDonald’s and bring your right order when I come to the McDonald’s and tell the staff you guys give me wrong order and costumer really angry I ask you guys twice before l leaving is that order right.so when am speak with the who is wearing white shirt guy suddenly came another white shirt girl you can’t speak like that my staff and we are busy that’s why it’s a wrong order.and she shouting me leave the McDonald’s and she threatened me am going to band from Uber and leave the car park aswell.and I ask that girl how can you say like that’s she told me that’s her property.my point is what kind of power she have threatened me like that.just imagine that costumer eat that food accidentally and that food allergies for her. What is the McDonald’s staff have excuses. I have even walked to work and back everyday, as I am concerned about public transport.
I placed a food order with the Mcdonalds store in Westdenton Newcastle upon Tyne today, and ordered a big mac meal for myself.
Can you imagine my dismay when I took a bite of my burger and came across a long black hair.
I felt physically sick, and then extremely concerned about the health implications.
I informed the shift manager of the store of the issue, and she responded by offering me a replacement burger if I called into the store to collect it.
I informed her of my situation, she then gave me an email address to make a complaint.
I then contacted Mcdonalds head office where the advisor seemed to be sympathetic.
The advisor asked for a few photographs of the item, which I had already taken, so I gladly provided them.
Shortly after I was contacted via email from the advisor, offering my a £10.00 off voucher when I spend £10 00 instore. This was seen as a good will gesture.
I am totally disgusted at Mcdonalds they preach about taking special care with people's orders during these difficult times.
The real truth of the matter is however Mcdonalds do not listen to you if you have a genuine issue. They also do not care about the health of the public, as long as they continue to make money.
