Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Very bad experience... After 12 hour long day shift , I ordered a pizza. I was told it would be ready in 10 min. I had 20-25 min drive to the shop to collect it. When I reached the shop, the pizza wasn't ready when I asked.. the shop owner was so arrogant..he said his staff doesn't start baking the pizza straight after the order as it can get cold by the time the customer comes..he said the pizza is in the oven it will take only 5 minutes. But when I looked in the oven there wasn't anything in the oven... However, the staff was so busy in packing the orders.. what I understood from the situation is that they forgot to do my order...instead of admitting that he said he doesn't start the the baking straight away but wait for 15-20 min before starting the order... If it's true I advise all customers not to buy it from this shop as you won't b able to eat Ur food when you want... Then what is the point of ordering pizza over...

The food I received was totally unacceptable. The toppings on the pizza were uncooked, therefore the pizza was inedible. I decided to give the restaurant a call to discuss the order I received. The restaurant stated that’s how they make their pizzas. They argued their point that I would not be eligible for a refund as “that is how they make their pizzas” and “ they have been making pizzas for 15 years”. The pizza was untouched and I informed them they could pick it up. The restaurant lacks basic customer service and this has to be one of the worst experiences I have when ordering food from a restaurant. The members of staff their are inconsiderate, argumentative and out of order. I would strongly advise not to order from this place. I understand things do go wrong sometimes, but the way they handled this was shocking. I will certainly be looking...

Devastated isn’t the word . Been using for 2 year the delivery driver Dougy is lovely allways brings hot food. This time some girl came I seeen her walking up the street with no food bag so I knew straight away the pizzas would be cold . When she left I could feel the box was freezing how rude not to keep ur food warm . I rang back and all i got was grief of a foriengh guy saying no no we put food in a bag I lost my rag with having making excuses up .
