Pepino's Kebab & Pizza — Restaurant in Newport

We placed an order from pepinos, first off delivery was 25 minutes late, but all 3 portions of chips that arrived were not cooked properly, and were hard and raw in the middle. I threw away one portion before my daughter complained to just eat. She told just eat that I'd thrown away the one portion. When the driver brought "fresh" chips he asked for the chips back, my daughter told him she had said that the one portion had been thrown away. He said he needed to go and speak to someone. While he went to his car to do so, I went in the bin and got out the 3rd portion. He came back to the door, said that we were now banned from ordering again! Refused to take the chips from my daughter who then had to throw them all in the bin, in front of him. So why was it such a big problem? He was so rude! I'm sorry but if we pay for food, we expect to have decent food delivered. I wouldn't half cook food at home and serve it! You used to be the best place to order food from in Newport and I've left plenty of good reviews for you on just eat, but you should be ashamed of yourselves. You could have had all 3 portions back, but I bet the driver didn't come back and say that...

We have been ordering from this place once a week for at least 6 months with no problems, but we will not be using them again when you phone to place an order the man on the end of the phone don't understand English too well. Week before last ordered Kebab meat on chips received Kebab meat on pitta bread. Then last week waited 1 hour for our order then phoned to find out where it was only to be told that it had been sent out and the driver had got no answer, When we said no one had been to our house we were told he went to 103 even though we had told them when we placed the order that our house is 130, They used to have a Lady answering the phone who recognised the wife's voice every time she phoned to...

Used to be a great place to get food but it has gone downhill big time. Mixed doner was disgusting and wrong pizza arrived even after making a second phone call to confirm. Apparently, there is only one type of chicken on the pizza menu, contrary to their menu saying otherwise and it seems customary to add other toppings to a pizza which were not ordered.
