Sen BBQ — Restaurant in Newport

I'm disappointed with ethics of this place. I have ordered food from Sen Bakery and Grill, my wife went to pick it up but she ended up in Sen BBQ place (wrong shop) which is on the same street. Orders did not match and also prices of the food. My wife asked if she is in the right place and if there is another place called Sen on the street as her food order is pending, they told her that there is no other place on the street and they were very happy to take a new order, which my wife did in all of that confusion. After some digging we found few shops down the road was another shop owned by the family member (competition) with order waiting for us. We did not want to be unfair and my wife went to collect another order too, after discussion with Sen Bakery and Grill, they were very kind and insisting on not giving her duplicated for us order (even though they were the ones who took the order first). They made a loss, hopefully food will not go to waste. Well done Sen Bakery and Grill. Not so nice...

Haven't been for a while, but had my favourite, the full mix on Sunday night. It easily feeds a hungry family of four, possibly five if you have little ones. Honestly, it's like a round of the Generation Game trying to remember all the variety of meat you get in there. A quail, lamb chops, chicken wings, chicken and lamb shish, lamb kofte, loads of mixed doner meat all laid out on a bed of rice. Accompanying that lot was a big mixed salad, about a yard of their amazing flat bread and pots of garlic and very spicy chili sauce. If that wasn't enough, a creamy rice pudding was thrown in.

There's only one thing better than eating that lot, and that's the leftovers for lunchtime the next day. All the smoky meat juices have soaked into the rice and the chilli marinade gets right into those juicy wings. I always give this place a chance as their food is nice and they always end up letting me down my partner rang and ordered because the girl always seems to get my order wrong when I ring so he ordered 2 meals so basically 2 of everything 2 chicken shish 2 small chips 2 small salad just 1 halloumi and 2 waters so so simple NOPE THE GIRL DOES IT AGAIN 😂 they sent 1 meal oh but they did send 2 waters what a simple little girl they have working there we was charged £36 I’ve attached a picture of the small meal I think the owners need to remember where there kebab shop is smack bam in central maindee it ain’t no friahs walk restaurant lol also in all the reviews for this place the owner is replying with oh we have never heard this before! Well that’s strange because I’m seeing the same thing being said constantly in all the reviews so maybe either learn to read or stop...
