I kept hearing how good the food was at the New Inn so booked for the family - 6 adults and 3 Children. We went for Sunday roast and had an excellent experience from the moment we walked in. The landlady made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm and attentive manner and loved that she clearly knows how to interact with children.
The service was brilliant throughout, with every detail considered to make our visit enjoyable. The highlight, of course, was the food. We were served a fantastic home-cooked roast that was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and every everything arrived piping hot. It was clear a lot of care and attention had gone into the preparation!
It was a nice touch when the chef came out to check we were happy with our meals and asked if we needed anything else – such a thoughtful gesture.
We left feeling full, happy, and eager to return. If you’re looking for great, home cooked food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service, The New Inn is the place to go. Highly...

Nothing is too much trouble and she is such a genuine kind hearted soul who I felt instantly at ease with!! The food is all homemade and just delicious!! The chef here is an absolute credit to the industry! Amazing food!! We went in on a Wednesday and they had karaoke on in the evening!! Everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere was incredible!! My son had the best time singing his first karaoke!! I cannot recommend this pub more if I tried. I cannot wait to go back and see what other fun things happens in there. I never write reviews. EVER! I cannot fault a thing and wish I could give...
