Came here to try the new Italian restaurant. You have to pre-book as it is a small restaurant, so very unlikely there would be walkin space available. Staff gave us table water and menus upon arrival. They showed us the specials board and gave us time to decide. There's no wine list so you are risking on price when ordering. They do some cocktails too but again no menu. The food came out and it was hot and tasty. We had the Bolognese, sea bass, carbonara and Friday special of lamb ravioli. We also had a cheesy and normal garlic bread. The food tasted very good. The only desserts are on the specials board which we had tiramisu and sticky toffee pudding. For 4 people we spent £140-£150 altogether so can add up on price if you have 2 or more courses plus alcohol. That being said, it's probably the best thing eckington has to offer right now

100/10 stars!! 🌟 Just perfect. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was outstanding - the most authentic Italian we've ever had! & it came out nice & quickly too, large hot, fresh & hearty portions with quality ingredients! Hats off to the chef! šŸ§‘šŸ¼ā€šŸ³ The owners & staff are so friendly and attentive, you can definitely feel the loving family atmosphere as soon as you walk in 🄰 very cosy & beautifully decorated, we will DEFINITELY be returning! Thankyou for having us Saps šŸ•šŸ šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ 🩷 (Please ignore the false 1 star review as I was there on the first night & no one of that name nor description has visited, & unfortunately nor is the restaurant wheelchair accessible as my dad was unable to attend due visit with us for this reason)

I have been really eager to go to Saporito since it opened back in November, and I finally managed to book a table on Friday. The food was unreal, the staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was so relaxed and the drinks were stunning, it did not disappoint. I had arancini, gnocchi, garlic bread and a limoncello spritz cocktail and honestly there is nothing I would change about each part of the meal. Before I left I was already planning my next trip there. Cannot recommend enough šŸ

8 of us dined last night after a six week wait and I'm really sorry we went at all. We had to pre- order so could not eat of the specials board which some of us would have liked, 3 of the meals were not as expected, there was a lot of little gem lettuce a small amount of chicken & anchovies (not mentioned in menu) & a lot of ceaser sauce & that was Ā£22 not cheap !! the 3 of us left most of this and when the plates were collected the waitress didn't mention this at all, just took them away...surely she could have asked why we'd left it. The other 5 meals were just ok nothing more At 8.15 we were asked if we wanted a sweet and did we know that we had only got the table until 9pm rather rude!! We were asked if we had pre- ordered sweet & as we said no were told they would have to check with the chef to see what he had left...its a restaurant. 2 had sweets and then the bill was just put in front of us...8.30 !! Bearing in mind the table was ours 7-9. We didnt realised at first that the service charge had been added to the bill..no mention of this. We all thought it was overpriced for what you got, we've had nicer food at less a price. We were very disappointed šŸ˜ž and all thought the staff rude, we felt as though we were being rushed out for the next people to come in. If you go check you bill if you don't want to pay the...

Went here tonight with my partner, we didn’t know what we fancied but have kept passing this place and wanted to pop in. We called in advance to check availability and they said we could come earlier than expected so headed straight over. Upon arrival we had a lovely greeting from the 2 front of house staff (sorry I didn’t get your names), they were polite and friendly, they sat us down, explained the options for the menu and drinks on offer. We didn’t feel rushed in the slightest, we had a pleasant experience, it was busy the time we were there, the food was amazing and we will definitely be going back. Everyone else appeared to enjoy their meals too. The meatballs and cheesy garlic bread were some of the best I’ve had and my partner who had the Carbonara said it was really nice, portion sizes are generous as well, not too filling leave room for pudding. We parked outside in the lay-by, but there is plenty of parking nearby at the local shop, a minute away from the restaurant. Look forward to seeing you again...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming local Italian restaurant, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere felt warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal.

As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. I ordered the carbonara, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and each bite was an absolute delight.

To top it off, I had their homemade brownie for dessert, and it was divine. It was warm, fudgy, and packed with deep, chocolaty flavor. The gelato was amazing! A sweet ending to an already incredible meal.

This place truly delivers an authentic Italian experience, and I can’t wait to return. A hidden gem that deserves...
