Costa Coffee — Restaurant in North Kesteven

Absolutely disgusted with this particular branch of costa at Sandpiper Road Lincoln. I've walked 45 mins with a husky to go and buy a latte and toasties before work at.3.30pm. Instead of doing an order for click and collect while I was there thought I'd try the drive through. They could not serve me there due to Health & Safety. Totally understandable. So said I'll order click and collect. Staff says "sorry but that's not working yet". We'll it certainly comes up as an option in the app. I said ok can it be bought to me at the front of the building. They couldn't do that either. They asked me to tie a siberian husky outside then come in. Not a chance, not my dog and I wasn't taking the chance of him been stolen. Was excited to visit but it was advertised as closing at 11pm on the Lincolnite which would have been so amazing as it gives a much needed alternative to Starbucks during the later hours. Was pretty disappointed to arrive and find this wasn't the case with the store having shut hours earlier. Seemed as though I shared this feeling with many other cars arriving at a similar time to me (with similar expectations judging by their reactions). Also this store is not shown on the Costa app yet despite being open a fair while now. It would have been nice to have checked the opening times on it before completely...

Went in the late afternoon. It was busy and maybe under staffed. The were several tables with items that needed clearing. Behind the counter wasn't clean. My order did come quickly however, my daughters mini hot chocolate wasn't nice. I'm not sure if the milk was burnt or the cup had coffee left in it but it wasn't drinkable.
