I was verbally accosted by a staff member at the entrance, she shouted from the counter down to myself requesting I wear a mask to protect the two customers seated who wear not wearing mask (head scratch, how can being seated protect you but standing be a risk mmmmm) I advised I am exempt. She claims I need proof and was not allowed to enter. Wearing a mask breaches Article 2 of the Human Rights Act 1998 Right to life as medical and scientific opinion is that masks do nothing to stop the spread of covid but may endanger the wearer therefore in contravention of Article 2.
It is also against the Equality Act 2010 to challenge a person not wearing a mask because it is an offence to do so under the government guideline and you and your employees are personally liable for such an offence and on summery of conviction of a fine up to £5000 under 112 (aiding contraventions) of the Equality Act 2010. An act of disability discrimination is classed as an Hate crime and an order to pay an individual who has suffered injury to feelings compensation between £900 to £9000 section 119 (remedies) of the Equality Act 2010.
To be questioned in such a manner was intimidating and humiliating plus it was public as if I was being reduculed and shamed, from any business this is far...
Read moreWent for a meal with my mum, she ordered a tuna jacket potato with salad with a flat white and I had ham,egg and chips the eggs where cooked really nice with a runnyish yoke and soft all the way through and the chips where crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle and they used nice quality ham, I also had a lovely hot chocolate that was larger then expected and both the hot chocolate and flat white were made with a proper coffee machine.
The food portions where really good although the ketchup was a bit thin but didn't taste awful and I can't complain as it all only came to around £20 roughly, next to the cafe is an ice cream parlour which if it had been a hotter day I may of gone to but didn't this time, after we finished the food in the cafe we went and played a game of air hockey in the joining arcade which was fun as I haven't played air hockey in a while.
There are no toilets on site so you do need to to walk a fair distance to the public loo's.
Definitely a nice place to take the family by the seaside for food and a fun day out, would definitely go again hopefully in nicer weather next time and then I can try...
Read moreWe came to Mundesley for a weekend so planned a break from cooking etc, the beach hut cafe was our breakfast go to...on the Saturday we decided on Sausage and egg rolls, it was quite early but they seemed busy but we had our dogs so opted for take out anyway (though they are dog friendly) and we were given a pager to let us know when our food was ready. It wasn't too long a wait, the food was hot and tasty and so we decided to visit again on Sunday, we had the same again on Sunday but asked for a couple of sausages for the dogs. It was lovely when our food came and we unwrapped the sausages to find they had been cut into bite sized pieces. We thouroughly enjoyed both out visits and it was lovely they went the extra mile for our dogs...though now I'm going to have to do the same for them! 😆 Thank...
