Sandy Hills Snack Bar — Restaurant in North Norfolk

I came here today to just get some ice creams but after looking outside at all the menus there was no pricing. So we went inside and still no prices. We then stood waiting while around 5 staff were serving. After waiting and waiting while staff stood chatting to each other and friends over the counter I decided maybe the window was quicker as it took a while. Once I went to the window the lad served a man so we stepped forward and he turned around and lent on the counter chatting. He was only young, but had numerous staff in front of him. When I finally asked if anyone could take my order he was super friendly but the girls behind him gave me really dirty looks and commented between themselves. I apologised to the lad but I won't spend my money on anywhere that I have to wait 10 minutes overall for a whippy. Train your staff to serve customers first then talk to each other/friends. Went here today and was about to place an order when we noticed a little girl who was helping serve, putting her bare hands into the marshmallows and sticking them into the cream on a hot chocolate. Thought this was really unhygienic so decided to order without toppings to avoid this issue! The lady taking orders at the side window then proceeded to blow her very obviously congested nose and put the dirty tissues on the tubs near the donut machine. Staff were extremely unhelpful when I tried to buy an ice cream for my 6 year old daughter who is allergic to some nuts. I simply asked if they could use a clean spoon and scoop the bubblegum ice cream from the front of the tub to avoid cross-contamination from other flavours containing nuts. The manager refused to scoop it from the untouched front area of the tub. When asked why not, the manager said they didn't want to ruin the display. I asked if this was a big problem and she eventually very reluctantly did it but was clearly not happy to help. Obviously she thought the display was more important than customer safety!
