We had the most amazing time staying for the night. The location was perfect for us to visit the seals at Horsey Gap Beach along with visiting any of the towns we wanted which were all a short drive away. The staff were incredible and the room couldn’t have been more cozy if they had tried. The food for us was absolutely incredible and honestly surprised us with both taste and presentation. You can tell the meals are prepared with not just passion but also quality ingredients. For us the highlight of the stay was the breakfast which we were treated to by Jocelyn the owner. It was a delight to meet her and has us excited to return in December which will be the beginning of our annual trips to the Harnser. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Three of us came here based on the good reviews. We ordered different food but they were all very well cooked. The homemade steak and ale pies was one of the best of its kind. Two of us went back for the Sunday roast. The beef was exceptional - the meat was tendered, tasty and melt in my mouth. The gravy was delicious. All waitresses were very friendly.

What a lovely pub. The lighting was the first thing we noticed. Swags above the bar and back lighting behind the bar. Warm, comfortable, clean and cosy environment with friendly, welcoming staff and good food. Tapas ole. We'll be booking Sunday roast sometime very soon

Quite possibly the best dining experience on the Broads!

We moored up at Richardson's boat yard in the free public mooring section and made the short 20 minute walk to the pub where reservations had been booked earlier on the phone from the boat.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and taken to a lovely table outside, but under cover to protect from the elements.

The service remained fantastic throughout, with special mention to the young blonde waitress (sorry, no name obtained) who dealt with our many, and varied, requests for personal touches to dishes - all of which were attended to efficiently and courteously.

The star of the show was the tapas menu, offering a selection of interesting options with a "meal deal" of 3 for £18 including fries (delicious!) or house salad (surprisingly well thought out, not just iceberg lettuce and a tomato!). The options include everything from hoi sin duck bao buns (highly recommended!!), squid with pineapple habenero sauce, to pork belly and fried halloumi.

Every dish that came out looked spectacular and the taste was equally impressive. In fact the food was so good we changed our plans and came back the next day to have some more!

It is a little walk from the canals and isn't the easiest to get to on foot but, please, make the effort, this place should not be missed if you like high quality food, excellent service, a great atmosphere and prices that won't make your eyes water at the end.

Thank you for being a highlight of our holiday...

Haven't been to The Harnser for months but it felt like home as soon as we walked in. Shown to a table for drinks while our table in the restaurant was being prepared. Pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord was in great condition, very fresh. |Shown in table in socially distanced restaurant. Choice of roast dinner or main menu. 2 course roast for £12.95 is a no brainer! Roast turkey, mash and roast potatoes, roast parsnip, carrot and swede mash, carrots, cabbage, peas, stuffing, pig in blanket, Yorkshire pud and gravy. Cauliflower cheese an option too.|Absolutely fantastic and totally stuffed! But made room for dessert. Choice of 3 hot and 3 cold. Washed down with more beer.|So glad we've made it back there. Hoping the next visit will be very soon. Thanks Steve...
