Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Staff need training or replacing. We went 31.12.21. Sat at the table and ordered food through the app. Went to grab our coffees, machine was out of milk, told someone right away but waited 15 minutes for someone to come change it despite the fact the cafe was quiet. Food arrived not long after, it was okay, nothing to rave about but wasn't bad. Went up to get a slice of cake afterwards. Went straight to the till to pay, no one there. A lady was cleaning the tables and just kept staring at me but wouldn't come over to serve me. About 20 minutes and a long queue later another lady finally appeared but she decided it was more important to change the milk on the machine again rather than getting the queue down. Eventually she came over, didn't say anything and just gave me this disgusting look as if to say "well, what do you want?" Not a good experience....

DO NOT COME HERE, the service is downright awful with very rude and vile staff members who are not pleasant or helpful at all, the food is also VERY basic and VERY bland, I ordered a beans on toast with a vegetarian sausage on Wholemeal brown bread

The sausage then to my horror came and was fried (on WHITE bread) which I was rather surprised about considering it is a VEGATARIAN sausage that should surely be cooked in the oven, food is often over cooked and the cafe itself does not have a pleasant atmosphere at all

The staff need customer service training and vast changes need to be made to for this place to be satisfactory as at the moment it is very unsatisfactory

DO NOT COME HERE, you are much better off going to someone else in the area for example the ‘shire horse’ pub or even...

There was 3 of us,my grandson asked for a bowl of chips we were told it would take 30 mins as they had no staff,we decided to wait. When they came out they didn't, look nice at all I tasted one and it was cold they were dry and wrinkled,I wanted to return them but my grandson said he would eat them,also of putting was the woman that brought them had her tongue hanging out of her mouth which was very of puttingbut she went about like that all the time we were there .all in all the food was horrible the coffee machines had no milk only one was working there was a 15 minute wait for someone to come with milk there was over 6 people including myself waiting on coffee,this is a regular occurrence in Morrisons cafe...
