Nando's Newcastle - Silverlink — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Ordered through the app, we never received our food. Good luck getting intouch with the resterant directly as everytime you call the number, you are pasted through to the call centre. They are as much us as a chocolate fireguard. When you place the order you need to input address and pin your address on the map. To which nandos are saying we inputted the wrong address. Funny as I have screenshots of the map on the app to prove that not to be the case. The address was 100% correct. Also the driver contacted me twice to which we give directions and address too, we even sent him a text with the address. After 1 hour of waiting we eventually receive the update to say our food has been delivered, so whoever has received it enjoy your free meal. Absolute disgrace and zero help from anyone...

13/04/25 The young lady (whose name we did not get) who greeted and seated us was very professional and attentive. Her patience was very much appreciated as she oversaw my wife uploading the Nando’s app on her phone and ran through all the options available (eating in, ordering on line or takeaways/delivery) and furnished both grandchildren with colouring in pictures and crayons. Also the young lady who took our order (again, unfortunately we did not get her name) was similarly professional in manner and approachability. Both are an absolute credit to your company. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and I left feeling that we had a very reasonably priced meal, in pleasant surroundings served by lovely staff. A rare thing...

Came here today and won't be wasting my time going back. All the staff were absolutely lovely bar one.. I'm guessing he's a "manager" but with so called manners like his I don't know how. Very abrupt and made me feel awful at the till (I'm deaf and can't hear very well). I understand there is a pandemic going on and he is trying to keep himself and his staff safe but he seriously needs to work on his customers skills.

He was also rude to my friend as well, I know the staff are under pressure but jesus niceness costs nothing at all. (short skin head type hair and in a dark blue top)

Like I said all the other staff were spot on but he has definitely made us not want to...
