Whent hear for our Christmas dinner it was £60 a head.the carrots were raw.the Yorkshire pudding was black, boiled parsnip and dry cake.i had to put a £10 deposit down each my daughter decided not to come I gave them 2 weeks notice thought they would of just took it off our bill as they still had spare seats but I lost my deposit .the toilet had no toilet roll and no paper towels.the function room fire door was chained up and locked. The staff never asked us how our meal was the pub was filthy the atmosphere was terrible.they never put any mint sauce are cranberry out.couldnt believe the state of our table. This is were my £120 went never will I set foot in that pub again

First time visit, we called in for a last minute lunch for the boys. I drive past this place all the time but have never thought to try it. I was really impressed with the food and the price to go with it was amazing. The place seemed lovely and clean, plenty of seats inside and out and a lovely little corner inside full of toys which kept the kids occupied while waiting for their dinner. It's also nice to see toilets in a pub working and clean. Staff also seem friendly. I'll definitely be back and will try to take the kids to some of the events I know they put on for them.

Popped in for Sunday Lunch as we'd been before and it was lovely and wanted to sit outside in the sun. I did enjoy my dinner, however it's quite expensive and the Sunday dinner comes with hardly any gravy as you can see in photo which means you have to buy a gravy boat for £3 and there still wasn't enough gravy!! Yorkshire pudding wasn't the best either!!

I'm gutted none of us had the thought of taking pictures of the food we were served. Ordered a starter of garlic mushrooms, on toasted ciabatta bread. As soon as it turned up I could tell it wasn't ciabatta bread it looked like the frozen garlic bread slices that I used to buy from heron plus it was cold in the middle. I asked the staff that took plate away and she just said well that's how we get it, it comes from the brewery along with the menu. I was shocked by her response and lack of care or thought to amend the situation. Then the dinners arrived. My gammon was like a half brick, I've never seen anything like it before. Two big cold slabs of meat, one very burnt Yorkshire and some mashed potato. The plate looked wrong, so much so all 3 of us decided to leave. I paid 35.77 for 3 dinners and 3 drinks and left the lot. Actually getting into an argument with the same staff as she was saying well we're sold out and never had any complaints before. Which may be correct as you certainly didn't know how to deal with a complaint in a civil manner and to make customers happy. A valuable lesson learnt. Would...

From walking in the door we should have known! No smile, hello or anything. Sat down (chair was wet) i passed comment to the girl behind the bar who didnt say a word. 1 of us got up to order food. Staff supposed to ask about allergens but didnt. Infact allergens are supposed to be displayed on the menu which are not. Hoisin duck flatbread, with salad, fries, sesame seeds & spring onion. Burger (on the menu as a patty) fries, coleslaw & salad. Burger came 1st.....never been a patty have to say it was literally a quarter pounder from asda! Fries were warm. Nothing special. Flatbread came about 10mins after. Fries were cold & no spring onion! Flatbread was a pitta. Girl came over & said 'are yous finished? & took the plates. Didn't ask if everything was ok. I actually saw her a few times biting her nails behind the bar!! When we left 3 members of staff standing. Not 1 of them said thanks or bye! I get the impression unless you are a regular they don't want to know. Absolutely no atmosphere or customer service & we won't return! Avoid if possible because I...

We went there on the 21st Aug , 3 of us and our Son is disabled, my Husband asked for. Pizza off the menu to which the unfriendly landlady said we. havent got them on as we’re waiting for new menus, to which my husband said they shouldn’t be on the table, she said somethings were on their, we then asked for the breakfast nap for our Son which was Sausage, egg and bacon, my Husband said could he just have a sausage bap to which she told us to leave, it was very upsetting for us as our Son is severely disabled and walks very badly as she knows, I said my husband will apologies, she wasn’t having it , i thought not very professional and must have plenty of money as there was only 1 table eating, I’ve worked in hospitality for 20years and you have to be ultra friendly with customers, she needs to change her very...
