Ramadan Exclusive Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in North Warwickshire

I was extremely disappointed and quite gobsmacked both at the dreadful service we received and the food. We were booked for 6.30 and ordered lamb passanda and lamb shashlick. I have never seen lamb so tough. My friend couldn't cut hers let alone chew it and neither could I. We sent it back and was offered to look at the menu with apologies and to choose another dish. They did not offer to replace our dish with tender lamb which I thought was telling. So I had a king prawn dish and my friend a fish dish. These were very good but we waited ages. The whole time no one offered us more drinks. When we finished they cleared the plates. No one came or offered us desserts or coffee. An hour later I flagged a waiter down and asked what coffee he did and he said wait a minute and bought a drinks menu. He did not offer a desert one. We did not want dessert thankfully. 15 minutes later I flagged down another waiter and ordered 2 lattes which took 20 minutes to arrive. When we had the bill they had only charged us the difference between our original dish and the second one which was some concession. As we left no one saw us to the door or said a word to us. Went for my partners father 60th meal. Made the booking in July. It was for 23 people. 2 months notice. We confirmed multiple times that we were coming and the number isn't changing. We waited over 30 mins to receive a menu once asking. We waited over 2 and a half hours for mains. This was raised to management as there was children present who was hungry. To also be told it was our fault for having different bills that's why the food took so long and the owner come over shouting. We were also asked if we could give up a table even though we were using it to accommodate another group.

I feel like if you know you have such a large booking you should be better prepared. Even by asking for a menu choice before or offering a limit menu for the group.

I have been to this restaurant before and had no problem. But after our experience we won't be returning.

I was there last night for the first time and it won't be my last ! Great food, nice surroundings and attentive staff. It was a full restaurant by the time we had our main courses but the waiting staff were really efficient, even allowing for an annoyingly loud and boorish group of blokes in the corner, celebrating a birthday or a stag do.....whose average age you'd think they'd behave better..... Anyway, our food took enough time to arrive to reassure it wasn't just zapped in a microwave; rice and particularly the naans were fluffy, hot and fresh and portion sizes were spot on. I had a lamb dish and was wary if it might be like shoe leather but I needn't have worried. My other half said her chicken was plentiful and delicious. Great prices too. Parking could be a bit of a squeeze but there is a works estate next door that I reckon could be used as an overspill.
