Really disappointed in corner cake shop.

Birthday cake ordered recently which clearly stated on the print off order on the box that it was a “chocolate fudge cake with jam” and no trace of jam in the cake at all.

This was ordered well in advance, £24 for a cake that tastes the same as the cakes you pick up in Asda and Tesco for less than £10.

Will not be back for a birthday cake - they dished out whatever was handy to me and their standards have dropped so much.

We thought the new owner had made a good impact when he took it over in 2023 but we had lunch takeaways a week ago and it was substandard .

Reflects the interior of the place really, reluctant to move with the times and happy with mediocre. No investment , be left behind I guess they say.

The cake was completely unacceptable, so dry . A fudge cake should have fudge in the centre not butter cream. Just covered in icing all over and not tasty at all.

Will not be back - folks buy a Colin the caterpillar instead for less than...
