Walked into this cafe on my way through Cookstown, having been told they serve the best coffee here - they really do. Since I'm the first to leave a review, I'll go over a few things I love about Ground:
• fantastic, helpful and happy staff, ready to help out with anything • very good wifi connectivity • hot, tasty coffee (ask for a to go cup to keep it extra hot) • delicious looking freshly baked goods • clean toilet facilities • spacious café, big tables and very comfortable seats and couches(!)

Read moreWitnessed the most disgusting behaviour from a staff member towards an elderly man, to the point that I refused to spend money in this place and left. A young female member of staff (brown hair, tattoos on both arms) was serving an older gentleman, he was simply asking for a knife and sauce, she went in to the kitchen in a temper and slammed the knife down that abruptly that everyone in the que could tell she was annoyed over this simple request.
