Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

August 2022: Really disappointed with my latest visit. It started out well, I ordered a main from the main menu and a starter and dessert from the value menu. I tend to chose the same meals each visit because they’re usually so good. Starter arrived within 10 minutes - chicken goujons and dip, very tasty.

Then I was forgotten about. Two nearby tables, who arrived after I did, were served before I said to the waitress that I hadn’t received my main. It finally arrived exactly one hour after I ordered it, and it wasn’t complete - I’d ordered the upgraded smothered chicken but received the basic version. The chicken was delicious but the salad leaves left a horrible chemical taste in my mouth. When the waitress lifted my plate she didn’t ask me how the meal was so I didn’t mention it. The saving grace was that I had a voucher for a free main, and didn’t see the point in complaining to the staff about something that couldn’t be refunded.

The table next to me also said their burger was disgusting. Reading recent reviews the restaurant seems to have gone downhill which is a shame. This experience has put me off returning in the foreseeable future.

June 2021: Went last week for lunch, ate from the two mains for £8.99 menu which is fantastic value. Place was quiet due to Covid-19, normally much busier. Can’t wait to visit again,...

We couldnt be more disappointed with our visit here. We were staying in the hotel and so booked in here for handyness. Our dinner experience was awful. The 4 of the 5 kids meals were served, and then 20 full minutes later the adult and remaining child's meal was served. Although the taste and quality of all meals was way below standard, one adult meal was completely inedible and was returned, and we still had to refuse payment for it at the end as they charged it regardless. Service was slow, food was bad and overall experience was awful. Not wanting to risk breakfast, especially since they could only accommodate us at 8am, we tried that evening to book elsewhere. Unfortunately we couldn't get anywhere and so headed to the restaurant again in the morning, surprised to find it practically empty and emptier still upon leaving, so couldnt understand why we could only get breakfast at 8am. Altgough the staff were efficient and friendly this time, breakfast itself was just disgusting. Could have played Frisbee with the eggs, the sausages were almost like the cheapest frozen ones you could possibly buy and everything was barely warm. So disappointed with the entire experience, which then tainted the hotel experience. Absolutely couldnt recommend to anyone...

I had a meal at Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre restaurant and it was of top quality. I had soup of the day followed by the Pie. The pie was accompanied with boiled rice and green beans. It was very enjoyable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service was quick. I would recommend a visit to Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre restaurant. Update Sunday 20th March 2022: I have eaten at Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre restaurant on two consecutive nights so far: Friday 18th March 2022 Saturday 19th March 2022. I also had a breakfast at the Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre restaurant on two consecutive mornings: Saturday 19th March 2022 Sunday 20th March 2022. Both the evening meals and the breakfasts were excellent. The food was of top quality. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service is quick and efficient. I am eating and drinking at Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre restaurant again on the following evenings: Sunday 20th March 2022 from 7:30pm Monday 21st March 2022 from 8:15pm. I will be having breakfast again at the Derry Londonderry Brewers Fayre restaurant on the morning of Monday 21st March 2022. I would recommend a visit to Derry Londonderry Brewers...
