Ordered food went up to collect . I would never be rude to anyone . The girl handed me each plate separately and paused so I very politely said there’s a portion of chips . She told me she had one pair of hands When I told her I thought that was extremely rude she tried to tell me she was joking . The food we have eaten before and returned for more . So to the restersunt I apologise for the poor rating . But the blonde girl at the till was rude and I think she thought wouldn’t challenge this . And looked like she realised she’d messed up . This is extremely poor customer service . I was in great form and chatting to another customer who witnessed it . I ordered a pint of beer and large white wine at a cost of £18.09. It was only later that I realised the wine was a standard measure. I mentioned this to the staff, who then informed another person, who I assume was the manager. I explained the situation and to sum things up, I should have pointed out the mistake at the time. I'm not a wine measure expert and it was only after my wife said later, "why didn't you get a large measure" that I realised the mistake. I was made to feel like a fraud and a liar by the 'manager'. Most other establishments would normally say along the lines of "you should have said at the time, but on this occasion we will give you a small glass as a token gesture". Fed and watered sold me a "filled soda" containing one slice of taste free bacon and a half sized, mud-quality sausage. The fried egg was over done. For the pleasure of doing so they charged me a bloody fortune.
