Used to rate this chippy but as of late the service has gone downhill.. waiting times are poor. Stood 15 minutes waiting to place order then a further 30 minutes.. just for 2 fish suppers. Seems to be phone orders and just eat orders take preference over people standing at the counter as there was only 1 girl taking the orders who in the space of 45 minutes handed out 3 orders! while the other 3 where in the back and 1 guy (Karl) on the pan. Used to visit this place often and support this local business, but tonight was enough.. grub is good but not worth a long...

Ordered to collect via an app. Notification order was ready, went to collect ignored for ten minutes. Eventually asked for my order said i was here to collect, went to look for my order no it isnt done come back in 15 minutes. Came back 15 minutes later got order. Food was tasteless compared to other chippies. Staff need to acknowledge customers, and apologise when they forget or mess...

Best chips in the world!!!!!!!! Travel 15 mins each way to get chips from this shop. Normally busy especially on Friday, Saturday tea time. Owner often works in the shop, friendly staff and 5 star hygiene rating. Reasonable prices and good menu. Lunch time offer is very good. Not overly keen on the fish but test of items are good. Must have had 50+ chips...
