Hi was here with 1 of my best mates, having a long overdue catch-up. Service from waitress, waiter, was absolutely top class. Could not fault it at all, couldn't do enough for us. They came over a few times, too ask if all was OK. Not a complaint from myself and mate, all good in the hood. Food was absolutely delicious, I ordered the Chicken Feast mmm, and mate the Burger 🍔 😋 👌and chicken wings. I also got the apple crumble and cinnamon dessert. Oh my goodness 😍. Beaut. Will definitely recommend this place 2 my friends and Family in Belfast. The place to go, to enjoy good food, good chat and great atmosphere 👍 👌. When the bill came, I was surprised in a good way mind lol. Cos I truly was expecting it too be higher, especially coming from Belfast. Very reasonable indeed, cos I was paying for meals and mate the drinks. 😃😀. Soz the tip wasn't great, but mate had no change n I had just the shrapnel left in my purse. My wife has been raving about how good The Parlour Bar is when she’s on a girls night out, so I thought I should try it out as I haven’t been in this establishment for years. So we went down on a Monday evening and were pleased to see that it was pretty busy with many other patrons. We got a table for two and had our drinks order taken right away with menus put in front of us. There’s a good choice of meals and once decided, we didn’t have long to wait for them to arrive. Wow…impressive looks, large portions and one we tucked in, very tasty. Neither of us cleared our plates but we had left room for dessert. We were going to share one, but chose two different desserts just so that we could taste each others. Again, good sized portions and again, delicious. Normally my local for when it comes to having dinner and a drink, but took the whole family here for Christmas dinner yesterday. The standards really dropped. We pre booked our food, there was no complaints on the starters. However no one enjoyed Thier main meal that much, I got my normal scampi and chips which is normally 5 star here. However on this occasion it was worth 2 star (if even). Family said to me even the veg could of been cooked longer . We all feel the food was prepped way to early and possibly sitting in the heat for way to long making it dry and bland. For upping the price over Xmas you should keep with normal standards.
