It's called "The Pit Stop" it's got cheap food. It is what it is. It used to be a scrap yard. Basically you get what you be pay for. It's not an undescovered jem, it's not a bargain. It's a greasy spoon. It's food in your belly and you leave satisfied. If you pay more elsewhere you get more. No bells or whistles , a fry won't have beans or mushrooms and you won't get asked "how is your meal". It's a truckers stop. Ask for a " Coffee Latte" and they will say "what's that". Expect a cup of tar that hits the spot but will taste different daily dependant on how long it's stewed. In summary, cheap street food, grubby but won't kill you. However I don't like that they slagg off other places with signage saying they are cheaper and better. In fact I actually went to the other places specifically because I felt Pit Stop was out of order slagging them off. The other places were not as expensive as Pit Stop said and the difference is price was definatly reflected in the quality of food and environment. A morning fry after a hangover and feeling rough, Pit Stop, a morning fry with the girl you pulled the night before and trying to get a second date, try a proper place. My pics show Pitstop Fry and Salty Dog fry and price. Depends on your mood and budget , but you get what you pay for. Tut tut Pit Stop for slagging and getting facts wrong though... Ps. Head out to Donaghadee and get the best of both worlds in any of the...

Me, my dad and my stepmum came her for breakfast this morning, there was grease on the wall and fingerprints on the glass, not to be confused they were not child sized fingers. The staff wasn’t too polite, when I went to go get cutlery for us, there were no clean glasses, bits of batter stuck to the side and the forks and knives had greasy handles, and the spoons had tea and coffee stains on them, looked like they were last washed 3 years ago, they were storing the cutlery in Tesco baskets, they shouldn’t even be making us go to get our own cutlery! They should have them on CLEAN tables with CLEAN cutlery and CLEAN glasses wrapped in DRY napkins like most professionals. Not to mention the food was less than mediocre, mine to be the most, chips were burnt and had no flavour as if they had been microwaved 6 times! The chicken goujons were terrible, I asked for no salad, you guessed it. They gave me salad. My dad didn’t like the atmosphere that he also had greasy walls sitting beside him! The maple syrup on my stepmum’s pancakes was hard. I also found a HAIR in my goujon!

The only reason I’m giving them one star is because I can’t give them zero. If you ever see this restaurant,...

Been a long-standing customer of pitstop, always love the sit in part, great staff, great food. Today tried the takeaway part, but sat in as there are a few seats... terrible experience. Staff were so rude and unprofessional. Not a please or a thank you for anyone going through here today. We sat down while the food was being prepped and our tea and coffee was set up on counter without so much as a shout over to get them. Milk put in both and neither of us takes milk. The replacement ones were near threw at me, then the plates of food again set up on the counter with people walking past them and again not even a shout over to come and grab them. Then the language of the staff was unreal in a service environment. Very disappointing. Food was great, a reflection of the owners and kitchen staff, but these staff were horrendous. Thursday 14th November at 11.30...

I usually enjoy here and they are good for a fry up but we decided to go for Sunday dinner for a change. Very disappointing. They plate up some cold veg and meat and microwave it. The meat was dry on the plate so once theyve microwaved it, it goes very rubbery and dry. My partner couldn't eat hers. Additionally we were charged £2 for some undercooked parsnips and £2 for peas. To top it off there are no prices visable for the carvery or the extra charges on vegetable options. £10 for your dinner and then £2 for each other veg after your first two. We could have had a fresh cooked Sunday dinner in romas or Ted's at that price. I came in not expecting very much but my expectations were still not met. £14 for a plate of disappointment.
