Ordered via the app for drive thru at 6pm, arrived at 6.20pm got handed our drinks at the window and was told to park in a bay. Sat waiting in the bay until 6.45pm so decided to go into the branch to see what the delay was. I stood at the counter for 5-7 mins before even acknowledged by a member of staff and proceeded to ask where our order is, turned out that our receipt hadn’t been printed so they weren’t even in the process of sorting it. Asked to speak to the manager and the male trainee manager explained he can’t offer a refund but can give a tub of ice cream for free. He was quite abrupt about it including folding his arms so I asked again to speak to the manager. The female team leader then came and I had to explain again the delay in our food order in the meantime our food was still not being prepared with other customers also waiting, I asked for a refund and our food due to the nearly 40 minute wait and she explained due to company policy they don’t offer refunds?! Took the offered 2 tubs of ice cream as a gesture but very poor customer service as I asked if it was their company policy for customers to come in after being through the drive thru to ask where their order is and thankfully I did otherwise I could have been waiting however long!!! I have previously had delayed food from the drive thru at McDonald’s and they apologised and refunded my order instantly and offered free food above and beyond my order, perhaps Burger King need to take a leaf out of their competitors book!!! Shocking customer service and finally hearing the staff complaining about the job whilst waiting to be acknowledged at the counter was the icing on the cake! Only visit if you are prepared to wait a LONG time! Burger King you need to...
Read morestarted coming here not too long ago, been a few times and feel i always keep coming back to give it another chance even though every time something has been wrong. its not like its even just down the road for us we have a fair way to drive as live in the sticks and always spend 20 quid or more so dont expect there to always be mistakes. first time we went there and ordered to be fair the food was all correct and tasty but we just parked up in one of the bays as it was around 10pm not busy and we realised they had forgotten the drinks, as we was walking distance from the booth proceeded to walk over and tell them, only to have one male server rudely respond with 'you cant walk through' and tried making out we didnt just order even though he served us! and only a matter of minutes ago.. really?? its not the last time this particular person made a mess up, gave me nacho bites rather than chilli bites which i clearly stated, only to pretty much travel home to realise, he always seems to be in a rush/pedantic/not wanting to be there.. and thats how mistakes are made. no one is making you work there lol! but we pay your wages at the end of the day should be more respectful.. another time we go there and one of my chicken strips was partly frozen.. and also asked for extra patty in burger paid for it then when opened surprise surprise only one in there.. and the funny thing is every time we have gone there they havent even been busy.. id hate to know how much standards would slip even more if they were more busy! staff need training giving...

Here's the problem, I like the size of the Bacon Double Cheeseburger...but I'm not keen on the fatty streaky bacon that they use.
Simple solution, when I order I ask nicely "could I have that without bacon, and have an extra slice of cheese instead please?"
Cue a quizzical look from the team member who then has to ask a supervisor.... the supervisors reaction was to completely ignore me and simply pull a face at the team member and reply "No".
Now, there was no one else waiting to be served in store. There wasn't a queue of cars waiting for the drive through. There was one order being made for the person who was in front of me. Surely it wasn't an issue of time that was the problem?
Further more, is it unreasonable to assume that bacon 🥓 costs more than a slice of 'burger cheese'? So I wasn't going to be diddling the franchise owner out of his/her profits by asking for extra cheese.
I've made this request on numerous occasions over the years where ever I am in the UK, and never had an issue.
Never had a problem in McD's when I ask to swap pickles for something else.
But in this particular Burger King, they always take issue with my request (I only go in 3-4 times a year, there's no chance they remember me) and are borderline rude about it.
Its just a slice of cheese guys. ...
Let's get back to the old BK slogan and
